Man observed in Oslo

Argentine man observed outside Caritas premises in Norway’s capital, Oslo. Police are urging witnesses not to contact the man, fearing he will try to teach them Spanish.

Police received several emergency calls late Monday night after a man was seen waving an Argentine flag in central Oslo. Witnesses described the experience as something that should not happen in a Western country.

I called the police when I saw the man, as I was completely horrified to see his behavior, Maria Susana, who wishes to remain anonymous, told the media.

Police said on X (formerly Twitter) that the man has been identified as Boca Juniors supporter Tomas. Police also said they are asking the public to be vigilant.

-The police have to do something. I’m from Peru myself, and at first I thought the man was from Chile, before I saw the Argentine flag, the anonymous witness, Maria Susana, wrote on Instagram.

It is still unclear what Tomas did in Oslo, but as a result of the situation, several people have taken to the streets in large demonstrations around the world, with banners saying “Pray4Tomas”, “Tomas4President” and “Who is Tomas?”.

-Covfefe, was President Trump’s brief comment on the situation.
